Once you have completed your estate plan and received your documents, you will need to execute the signing pages for your estate plan. This includes signing in front of a notary public, and sometimes witnesses when applicable. Each page will indicate whether a notary and/or witness is required.
It is imperative that you keep the original, executed signature pages in a secure place that you can easily access.
You will notice that each of your signature pages has a unique ID code and time stamp found at the bottom, and a QR code at the top that matches the version of the documents you have created in your online dashboard. It is important that you sign the signature page that matches the most recent version of the documents you have created online.
- Once you have executed all the signature pages, scan and upload them to your online dashboard. Upon logging in, you should receive the following message as a pop-up:
- Click on "Upload my signed signature pages" to continue. Then you will be able to select the files from your computer containing the scans or images of your signed signature pages. Please make sure the images/scans are clear and the QR code is visible.
- If any error message appears claiming that the system was unable to read the QR code, simply type in the corresponding ID code found at the bottom of the page in the field as prompted.
- Once they are successfully uploaded, you will have a digital version of your completed documents accessible online.
If you are unable to upload them to the account, you can email copies of the signed pages as PDF attachments to: docs@estateguru.com
If for some reason you cannot scan or email your completed signature pages, please send a copy (DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS) to:
