Once the Living Trust has been completed, it is ready to sign and execute. The client will receive a binder with their Trust documents, and all of the signature pages will be in the inside left pocket of the estate plan binder.
Follow the steps below:
- Sign and notarize the signature pages according to the instructions on each document (you will need to bring two witnesses to the signing).
- Scan the signed signature pages and navigate to the client's dashboard in Estate Guru.
- Use the Upload Signature Pages feature to upload a copy of the signed signature pages. Each signature page will be appended at the end of each corresponding document online.
- If you are unable to use the online tool to upload signature pages, you can email them as PDF attachments to: docs@estateguru.com
- If scanning and emailing is not possible, send copies (not the originals) of the signature pages to:

Once the documents are prepared and sent to the client in a binder, their online account will show that the documents are in Ready to Sign status. This is what the dashboard looks like when the docs are ready to be signed:
Dating The Digital Copies
After you've emailed the signed pages, go to your client's Dashboard. You will see a pop-up asking if you have signed the signature page. Select YES. It will then ask you for the date the trust was signed. Add the date signed. This will populate the signature date throughout the trust documents.
